Of course we already knew that we do not use animal leather on our Originals.
However, synthetic components, such as adhesives, may contain animal ingredients. And this is exactly what we wanted to exclude, to give you with absolute certainty a completely vegan flip*flop Original to offer.
By the way, we do not use animal leather for the rest of our shoe product range. We believe that vegan leather is just as suitable for our products in terms of appearance, wearing comfort, durability and high quality of workmanship. Therefore we have decided to use animal-friendly materials.
We are working on a vegan certification for the entire product range and will increasingly use sustainable materials in the future...because there is no planet B.
